The AJ Billes DC opened in 1991 when it was one of the most sophisticated and highly integrated Distribution Centres in the world. The facility underwent significant system and process upgrades to compliment new material handling equipment installations in recent years. Canadian Tire Supply Chain’s custom warehouse management system fully integrates all activities and material handling equipment from the gatehouse inbound to the gatehouse outbound. The DC utilizes bar coding, touch screen hardware and a RF network.
